At our annual symposium, renowned scientists from around the world discuss the latest developments in research on inflammation and the imaging of the immune system in Münster. It is jointly organised by our Clinical Research Unit 342 and several other research networks from our university.

The image motif for this year’s conference: A cross-section of a mouse’s small intestine. Fluorescence microscopy depicts bacteria (Yersinia pseudotuberculosis, pink) on the intestinal wall (green, orange), platelets (yellow), blood vessels (red), and lymphoid tissue (Peyer’s patch, orange, bottom right) – the main entry point for infection.
