The November Paper of the Month, awarded by the Medical Faculty, University of Münster goes to Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alexander Zarbock (last author), Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dietmar Vestweber (co-author) and others for the publication “The integrin-linked kinase is required for chemokine-triggered high-affinity conformation of the neutrophil β2-integrin LFA-1 “. Several authors of the publication are working as principal investigator or team member in the research field of the CRU.
In the current study, the authors could decipher an important signaling mechanism in the activation cascade of the integrin LFA-1 in neutrophils.
