PhD student gains funding for pilot project

KFO342 PhD student Josua Janowski, working in the group of Dr. Linda Brunotte, gains funding for a pilot project from the Cells in Motion Interfaculty Centre. Together with Rexford Mawunyo Dumevi from the working group of Prof. Alexander Mellmann he submitted the project “Mutations in the viral polymerase of HPIAV determine the production of aberrant viral RNA species that trigger overshooting immune responses.”

Andrea Olschewski takes on a new role

Andrea Olschewski was appointed as Member of the Commitee of Experts of the Excellence Strategy Germany and will therefore give up her position on the Scientific Advisory Board of KFO342 with immediate effect. She has actively supported the work of the Clinical Research Unit from the very beginning.
On behalf of all KFO members, the Management Board would like to thank her for support and the good cooperation.
